Compound Sentence
=> It contains two or more independent clauses and no subordinate clauses.
Compound Sentence :
(Independent Clause+Coordinating Conjunction+Independent Clause)

Independent clause maybe joined by a comma and coordinating conjunction, by correlative conjunction, by a semicolon (;), by conjunctive adverb or by transitional expression.
Coordinative conjunction
These conjunction join equal sentence parts. (FANBOYS)
- For (reason)
- And (argumentation)
- Nor (contrast)
- But (contrast)
- Or (contrast)
- Yet (contrast)
- So (reason)
Example :
- She didn't come to the campusshe fell unhealthy. (kalimat tersebut menggunakan semicolon, tidak ada coordinating conjunction)
- I like to eat fruits, and my sister like to eat vegetables (jika menggunakan coordinative conjunction harus disertai comma).
Correlative Conjunctions
These conjunction, as seen in the case of compound subject and predicates, are used in pairs.
- Either...or...
- Neither...or...
- Both...and...
- Not only...but also...
Example :
- Both Reza and Yogi re love in with my sister.
Conjunction Adverb
These adverb, like coordinate and correlative conjunction, are used to connect basic sentence patterns and make compound sentences.
(Also, next, anyway, besides, instead, otherwise, likewise, still, finally, meanwhile, then, furthemore, moreover, therefore, however, thus, etc)
Example :
- We should turn our assigment before 12 0'clock; otherwise, the professor will not accepted them.
Transitional Expressions
These expression are usually prepositional phrase used as adverbs.
(After all, as a result, by the way, for example, for instance, even so, in fact, in other words, on the contrary, in addition, etc)
Example :
- Not Indonesian muslims go back to their hometown for iedul Adha;for instance, students who study and live abroad stay in their respective country presidence.

Compound Complex Sentence
Compound-complex sentences are the most complicated sentences, as their name implies. A compound-complex sentence has at least two independent clauses and at least one dependent clause. It contains two or more independent clauses and at least one subordinate clause.
Example :
- The interest you pay on a house loan will increase the cost of the house, so be sure to shop for the lowest interest rate.
- My brother doesn't like K-drama because it is boring, so he ignore it.
